Meet the recipient of our Kidologie Scholarship for Community Minded Students at Kidologie!
Since its inception in 2012, Kidologie has been giving back to the community by selecting a local non-profit organization to benefit from each of its events. The goal is to help create increased awareness about the non-profit through Kidologie’s marketing and trusted community voice as well as making a monetary contribution to the organization from a portion of the event’s proceeds. In the past Kidologie has worked with causes such as The Newtown Memorial Fund, EverWonder Children’s Museum and Ann’s Place. In 2015, Kidologie decided to do something different by creating a Scholarship Fund to be given directly to an individual student.
Students were required to write an essay about what inspired them to be involved in the community and how their efforts have had an impact on their life and the lives of others, provide a list of community organizations, non-profits and clubs they have been involved in since starting high school, as well as other requirements.
